About Roisin
Roisin Cahill is a PSI-registered pharmacist with over a decade of experience in community pharmacy and pharmaceutical regulation. A graduate of Trinity College Dublin with a Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) degree, Roisin is a registered Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (MPSI, Reg. 11957) and brings a clinical, evidence-based approach to digestive health at Chemco Pharmacy.
As a community pharmacist, Roisin developed a specialist interest in gut and immune health — particularly IBS, IBD, bloating, constipation in pregnancy, postnatal recovery and gut lining protection. This clinical focus led her to co-found RoCa Healthcare in 2018 with her father Pat Cahill, who has worked in animal nutrition for over 30 years and was a driving force behind the business. Together they introduced the SylliFlor psyllium husk range to the Irish market — pharmacist-formulated fibre supplements designed to make daily gut care simple, palatable and effective.
Roisin works closely with hospitals, healthcare professionals and the fitness industry, blending clinical pharmacy practice with real-world nutritional application. She regularly presents at wellness events and clinical conferences, covering topics including IBS, IBD, bloating, constipation in pregnancy, postnatal recovery and gut lining protection. Known for her clarity and engaging delivery, Roisin makes complex health topics accessible — empowering both professionals and patients to view gut health as a foundation for overall wellbeing.
At Chemco Pharmacy, Roisin serves as Deputy Responsible Person for the HPRA-authorised Wholesale Distribution Authorisation (WDA) at the Purcellsinch, Kilkenny support and storage facility, supporting GDP compliance, pharmaceutical quality assurance and medicinal product traceability. She splits her time between pharmacy practice, RoCa Healthcare and — when the seasons align — a role as a ski instructor in the Swiss Alps, which she credits for the balance and energy she brings to her clinical work.
