How to Use

As a moisturiser: Apply liberally to clean, dry or slightly damp skin as often as needed. Apply in the direction of hair growth. Reapply frequently throughout the day — particularly after washing and for eczema or very dry skin, every few hours.
As a soap substitute: Apply to wet skin before bathing, rub in gently, then rinse off. Do not use standard soap or shower gel in addition — aqueous cream is sufficient for cleansing.

For external use only. Some people with sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) sensitivity may find aqueous cream irritating as a leave-on product. If irritation occurs, consider switching to a paraffin-based emollient such as Ovelle Paraffin Gel. Speak with your pharmacist for advice.

What is the difference between Aqueous Cream and  Paraffin Gel?

 Aqueous Cream has a lighter, water-based texture that spreads and absorbs more easily — making it practical for all-over use and as a soap substitute. Paraffin Gel is a pure white soft paraffin with a thicker, more occlusive texture that creates a stronger barrier to moisture loss — better for very dry, scaly or thickened skin such as in severe eczema or psoriasis. For mild-to-moderate dry skin, aqueous cream is usually sufficient. For severe dryness or psoriasis with significant scaling, paraffin gel provides stronger emollient action. Is Aqueous Cream suitable for babies?
