Meditull Paraffin Gauze Dressing

A non-medicated, paraffin-impregnated gauze designed as a primary wound contact layer. The leno-weave 100% absorbent cotton fabric is impregnated with white soft paraffin to help reduce adherence to the surface of a granulating wound, supporting atraumatic dressing changes.

Indications

For use on superficial, low-to-moderately exuding wounds where a low-adherence contact layer is desired (e.g., minor burns, lacerations, abrasions, skin graft donor/recipient sites), as directed by a healthcare professional.

Directions for Use

1. Cleanse the wound according to local protocol and gently pat the surrounding skin dry.
2. Place the paraffin gauze directly onto the wound, ensuring full coverage.
3. Apply an appropriate secondary absorbent dressing to manage exudate.
4. Secure in place with tape, bandage, or retention dressing.
5. Change dressing as clinically indicated or if strike-through occurs.
